Venezuelan President Chavez returns from Cuba cancer Diagnosed, vowing 20 year rule

Despite a recent battle with cancer, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says he's set to rule for the next two decades. 

Lat month, The 57 year old leader returned from Cuba, where he received cancer treatment. He has declared himself cancer-free, and denied reports claiming he has only two years to live.

Hugo Chavez said, "We have neutralised the violent people, the people who are trying to destabilise the country. They say the solution is what happened in Libya. It's craziness. But here there are a lot of fascists. We have to neutralise them to continue our path, our path to 2031. That's where we're headed, to 2031. And then I will really take a break and head for Barinas."
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has appeared on television for the first time with his head closely shaved. The leader is currently under going chemotherapy for cancer which has caused his hair loss. Putting on a brave face, Chavez joked saying he was returning to the days of his childhood when as a toddler he had little hair. See more
